Portraits. 90’s MTV alternative and hip hop music videos… Watching and drawing Anime… Playing in bands internationally… I grew up on these things, and they definitely come out in my photos. The over-the-top, attention-grabbing colors, angle, and energy are key to my unique style. For monochrome portraits, I’m heavily influenced by legendary portrait photographers David Bailey, Albert Watson, and 1960s fashion designer Andre Courreges. The cranked use of absolute black is key to the style I love.
