Since moving back to Eugene, Oregon in 2019, I’ve been working with a local jazz venue called The Jazz Station. Jazz has always been the primary sound in my house growing up; my entire family is either a fan, musician, or painter of jazz. I’m a huge fan of Herman Leonard and the early Blue Note photography (Francis Wolff), high contrast, heavy use of empty space, and creative angles.
